Hello Friends!

Welcome once again to my blog and I am sure you are enjoying the stories.

Today we have a very interesting story , so please switch off all diversions including your mind and enjoy the story.

It happened recently that Lord Ganesh had returned from an assignment given by Lord Shiva of checking out the welfare of a Hermit who lived all alone in the forest , under a tree and always meditated on Lord Shiva.

While Lord Ganesh was there , his vehicle the mouse had nibbled and in the process damaged the dress of the Hermit. Soon the devotees of the Hermit gifted him with a Cat to drive away any rat or mouse from the vicinity and in the process ensure that his clothes were not damaged and he could meditate on the Lord with a peaceful mind.

Soon a few more devotees of the Hermit decided to gift a Cow to the Hermit , so that both the Hermit and Cat could get milk from the Cow and with no worry for food could meditate peacefully on the Lord.

The villagers who lived near the forest decided to clear some land for cultivation ,so that there would be adequate fodder for the Cow and food for the Hermit and he could meditate peacefully on the Lord.

However , the Hermit was now busy managing the land , cow and cat and hardly had any time to meditate , therefore on suggestions of the villagers , he got married and started staying in a small hut with the sole purpose of meditating on the Lord.

So Lord Ganesh reported to his father , how the Hermit was in process of starting a family life .All because of his mouse and was now diverted from the Lord.

Lord Shiva told his son about the constant challenges he faced in life as his other son , Kartikeya had a Peacock as his vehicle and the snake on his neck which was always eyeing the mouse of Lord Ganesha would become restless when he saw the peacock. As snakes eat rats and Peacocks love to eat snakes. As if all this was not enough , Lord Shiva’s own vehicle the Bull – Nandi had major issues with his wife Goddess Parvati’s vehicle which was a terrifying Lion.

To resolve their problems the family finally decided to escalate the matter to their high command and went to visit Lord Vishnu.

Lord Vishnu heard their story very patiently and then decided to give them a solution. He asked all of them to resolve his own challenging situation as the coiled snake he was constantly resting on was always threatening to go away as his vehicle Garuda ,the eagle  would always look at the snake with a natural predatory feeling and his wife Goddess Laxmi’s vehicle the Owl was always afraid to come near the snake on which Lord Vishnu rested  due to which his wife was upset with him.

So all of them held a round of brainstorming about the possible solutions and finally came to the conclusion that conflicting situations were there to bring out the best of all as survival was dependent on being constantly aware and the ecological balance was only maintained when every single individual took responsibility and stopped blaming others for their problems.

So my friends , all of them went back happy that a solution had been finally found and with additional responsibilities on their shoulders they felt empowered to carry out their work.

My friends – strange as this story may sound – the reality is that we all are responsible for everything and constant awareness is the only perfect solution to all situations in life and it is best to stick to the core areas without diversifying and keeping life as simple as possible.
